G2 Agri Group (“G2”) was founded in 2015 by the Gahan family, who have roots in the agricultural industry going back over 170 years and six generations.
Further, the family has over 75 years of combined experience in professional practice accounting, finance and legal roles, including top-tier accounting and law firms.
Tony is co-founder and Managing Director of G2 Agri Group. Tony has vast knowledge of the agricultural industry and was brought up on a large dairy farm in northern New South Wales. Tony has worked within the property development industry for some 30 years with roles including project identification and assessment, financing, and project management for numerous residential and commercial ventures.
Through his own development services and funds management companies, Tony has focused on the assessment and financing of developments for clients, providing access to funds from private lenders. To date, Tony has raised and placed over $80 million in funds.
Tony is responsible for leading the G2 management team, maintaining key commercial relationships and sourcing new business opportunities.
Joel is a Chartered Accountant and co-founder of G2 Agri Group. Joel has over twelve years’ experience in business services, advisory and commercial roles in accounting and finance. As part of these roles, Joel has undertaken a number of due diligence, financial modelling and valuation assignments across a range of sectors.
Joel is primarily responsible for supervising the finance unit and managing the financial risks of the business. This includes managing all aspects of accounts receivable and payable, corporate treasury, group accounting, internal audit and payroll. He is also involved in all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
